Syracuse University — Homecoming Events

Syracuse Homecoming

In 2007, Syracuse University combined Homecoming Weekend and Alumni Reunion Weekend for the first time. Based on what your Stumptowners on the scene observed, it should become an annual combined event. It was a great experience to have the oldsters hang with the youngsters on campus.

The current students were helpful, polite and many were infused with Orange spirit. Ken Kane was surprised and pleased to encounter sophomore Pat Clare, who attended our Student Send-off BBQ in August. He was handing out orange leis to passersby at the Homecoming Parade as part of the U-100 Club.

There were dozens of events, only a few are depicted below. Some were educational, others nostalgic, others (the football game) a leap of faith. But there was plenty to do and get wrapped up in!
